- Separator: commas. Values that contain a comma are wrapped in double quotes, as the CSV standard (RFC 4180) describes.
- Encoding: UTF-8 with no byte order mark, and a line feed at the end of each row.
- Dates: ISO 8601, such as
2025-03-14, so they sort as text. - Money: two decimal places with no currency sign.

- Test an upload or import screen, including its row limit and how it reports errors.
- Check how an app handles missing values with
customers-with-empty-values.csv. - Practise pivot tables, charts and formulas in Excel or Google Sheets with
